About Karen

I help people overcome challenges and obstacles so they can fulfill their God-given purpose.

Maybe you are like me, feel like you are called to more. Maybe you have a calling on your heart that seems completely out of your comfort zone, out of the realm of possibility, and impossible to achieve.

I hear you! My entire life I felt called to “something.” What that something was I had no idea, but it was somewhere, out there. Then, a dream in the middle of the night made it clear. I was called to pastoral ministry, to preach. Frankly, that was the last thing I wanted to do. I was terrified of public speaking, and I wasn’t sure I liked people very much (*I found out I love people). Also, in my denomination, it would require a lot of education, and that was where I felt called to serve.

I was a 38-year-old mother of teenagers. Our three daughters were all in High School. We married young, I only had a high school diploma, and we had one income. We were hoping to put our girls through college; adding me to the mix seemed impossible. Additionally, how would I juggle motherhood, studies, and eventually also being a student pastor?

God and I did it together for sure. I completed my college education with honors (summa cum laude!).

I completed my Master of Divinity with honors and eventually earned a Doctoral degree. Because of my faith, I always want to acknowledge the grace of God that saw me through.

Amid all this, I have become an ICF-accredited coach, a trained spiritual companion, and have expertise in the area of contemplative prayer and meditation.

I have learned a few things along the way. I love helping people of all faith traditions, or no faith tradition reach their goals and achieve their dreams. If you have a big dream, or calling to fulfill your purpose, hit the chat button.
